“The legislation (CS/SB 668) was approved 24-14 by the Senate. Ten women senators from both parties who voted on the bill were divided, with five in favor and five opposed.

The bill is aimed at giving judges guidelines and a formula for determining the amount and duration of alimony, along with conditions when modifications can be made to an award.”

Now is the time to contact Governor Scott and ask him to Sign SB 668 when it gets to his desk.
